Specialist Urologist and Robotic Surgeon, Dr Gerrit Serge Wessels, was awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees (MBChB) by the University of Pretoria in 2005. He was conferred as Fellow of the College of Urologists of South Africa in 2015, and attained his Master of Medicine specialising in Urology from the University of Stellenbosch in 2016.

He completed his registrarship in urology at the University of Stellenbosch’s Tygerberg Campus.

He is in private practice at the Netcare Kuilsriver Hospital in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
